Whether it was riding a bike without stabilizers or getting that last piece in a 1000-piece puzzle, learning and growing were essential ingredients of a happy childhood. Each success brought not only a sense of achievement but pride in overcoming challenges. Do you remember the friendships from those years? The first friend we made in kindergarten or the teammates on the playground during recess? Those friendships were built on sharing secrets, laughing uncontrollably, and sometimes, stubbornly disagreeing over trivial matters. Yet, these friendships showed us the importance of understanding and forgiveness. And what about family? The smell of homemade cookies wafting through the house, the sound of stories before bedtime, and the countless hours spent playing board games together. These are precious memories that fill our hearts today and link us to the innocence and safety of our youth. Childhood memories may be from a different era of our life, but they hold fragments of wisdom, happiness, and love which continue to resonate even as we step into adulthood.
